Saucony x Packer Shoes x Just Blaze Grid 9000 ‘Snow Beach’

Taking direct inspiration from one of the holy grails of the Hip-Hop world, the Polo Ralph Lauren ‘Snow Beach’ Pullover, Saucony and Packer Shoes continue their fruitful partnership by working alongside acclaimed music producer Just Blaze on an immaculate reworking of the Grid 9000.

Worn by Raekwon in the Wu-Tang Clan’s ‘Can It Be So Simple’ video, the ‘Snow Beach’ jacket is something of a neccessity for Lo Heads of Brooklyn and this iteration of the Grid 9000 pays homage to this classic piece of outerwear.


Taking the strong yellow/navy colourway, the uppers are constructed with a plush suede to the side panels, mudguard and heel with synthetic mid-foot and toe box in contrast yellow. This instantly classic is finished off with Packers branding to the taping and swing-tag with a US flag decal to the heel and tonal toggle to the lacing system.

The collaboration is made complete by the insoles and packaging which emulate the colours and graphics of the iconic ‘Snow Beach’ jacket whilst the promotional video features Lo Head and legendary music producer Just Blaze working in his studio wearing the classic jacket to the soundtrack of Gladys Knight’s ‘The Way We Were’ which was sampled by Wu-Tang Clan for their seminal hit.
